The resource persons explained various aspects of biodiversity conservation, responsible water usage, rainwater harvesting, waste segregation, composting, and sustainable waste management practices. Teachers were also introduced to the structure and objectives of the Wipro Earthian programme.
An important focus of the workshop was to encourage teachers to form student teams and engage them in projects and activities related to Water, Biodiversity, and Solid Waste Management during the academic session 2026–27.
The sessions were informative, interactive, and discussion-based, helping teachers understand how sustainability concepts can be integrated into classroom learning and everyday life. The participants appreciated the valuable insights shared by the resource persons and the efforts of the organisers in conducting the workshop effectively. Overall, the workshop proved to be highly enriching, insightful, and inspiring for all participants, reinforcing the importance of sustainability education and environmentally responsible practices in schools.
