Inter-School Competition – Celebrates Young Talent

Laxman Public School hosted the prestigious Laxman Memorial Inter-School Competition on August 21, 2026, in fond remembrance of its Founder Members Shri Laxman S Agarwal and Smt. Shyama Laxman Agarwal. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation of 19 schools from across Delhi, bringing together young talent in a spirit of healthy competition and camaraderie.

The occasion was graced by the presence of Members of the Managing committee, who added warmth and significance to the memorial event. The competition reflected the enduring vision of Shri and Smt. Agarwal and their commitment to providing young learners with opportunities to discover their latent talent and showcase the same.

Students from the participating schools displayed remarkable confidence, creativity and stage presence in the English, Hindi and Sanskrit Recitation Competition. Their performances were judged on parameters such as content, pronunciation, voice modulation, expression, fluency, confidence and overall presentation. The budding artists, from the participating schools, painted their visions depicting the theme ‘One Earth, One Mankind’ at Chitralipi Painting Competition.The students presented innovative mathematical models at Innovatrix – the Mathematical Model Making competition. The scientific temper of the participants ran very high in Quark – the Science Quiz competition.

The distinguished panel of judges appreciated the efforts of all the participants and offered valuable feedback to encourage them to strive for excellence.

The winners were felicitated with trophies and certificates in recognition of their outstanding performances.The coveted Overall Trophy was bagged by Springdales School, Dhaula Kuan, whose impressive performance across the competition earned them the top honour.

The event was marked by meticulous organisation and enthusiastic support from the teachers, organisers and student volunteers of Laxman Public School. The participation of schools made the competition a vibrant celebration of talent, expression and literary appreciation. The Laxman Memorial Inter-School Competition concluded on a high note, celebrating not only the achievements of the winners but also the enthusiasm and efforts of every participant. The event served as a fitting tribute to the memories of Shri Laxman S Agarwal and Smt. Shyama Laxman Agarwal reaffirming Laxman Public School’s commitment to nurturing young talent and inspiring students to live by its motto — “Be Yourself.”
