Laxman Public School Students Showcase Scientific Innovation on DD National

Laxman Public School was proud to provide its young innovators with an opportunity to showcase their creativity, scientific thinking and innovative ideas on a national platform through DD National’s “Masti Ki Pathshala.”

On 18 August 2026, a team from DD National visited Laxman Public School to record and feature two innovative Science models developed by students of Class XI.

One of the featured projects was the “AI Smart Wound Healing Patch,” developed by Madhav Singh and Tanisha Gupta. The model was designed to address the challenges faced by diabetic patients, who often experience delayed wound healing and an increased risk of infection. The innovative concept combines Biotechnology and Artificial Intelligence to monitor and support a hydrogel-based wound-healing patch, demonstrating how emerging technologies can contribute to healthcare solutions.

The second project, “Bioplastic,” was developed by Sidhagana Mishra. The model demonstrated the production of biodegradable plastic using corn starch and plant waste, highlighting the potential of sustainable materials as an eco-friendly alternative to conventional plastics.

The recording also featured the school’s student anchors — Arush Madan, Swarnima Prakash and Shubham Pandey — who confidently represented Laxman Public School and added to the overall experience.

The students’ journey continued on 19 August 2026, when DD National News invited Madhav Singh and Tanisha Gupta to its studio for an interview. At the national platform, the students spoke about their AI Smart Wound Healing Patch, sharing their experiences, challenges and the difficulties they encountered while conceptualising and developing the model. The interaction provided them with valuable exposure and an opportunity to communicate their scientific ideas to a wider audience.

The entire experience was highly enriching for the students, giving them valuable exposure to the world of media while encouraging them to think creatively, work collaboratively and pursue innovative solutions to real-world problems.

Laxman Public School extends its heartfelt gratitude to its visionary leader and Principal, Ms Seema Bharti Mishra, for her continued encouragement and for providing students with opportunities to showcase their talents and achievements on prestigious platforms. The school congratulates the participating students for their enthusiasm, creativity and confidence, and wishes them continued success in their journey of learning and innovation.
