Investiture Ceremony of the Student Council
The Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2026–27 was held with great pride, enthusiasm, and dignity on 21st May 2026 in the school premises. The ceremony marked the formal announcement and oath-taking of the newly elected Student Council and House Captains, entrusted with the responsibility of upholding the values and traditions of the school.
The ceremony began with an inspiring welcome address by the Principal, Ms Seema Bharti Mishra, who spoke about the importance of leadership, discipline, responsibility, dedication, and teamwork in shaping students into responsible citizens and future global leaders. She encouraged the newly elected council members to carry out their responsibilities with honesty, confidence, and commitment, reminding them that the leaders of today’s school community have the potential to emerge as influential global leaders of tomorrow. Motivating the students further, she shared examples of distinguished alumni who are excelling in various fields and making the school proud through their achievements.
The newly elected council members received their badges as a mark of leadership and responsibility. This was followed by the oath-taking ceremony, where the student leaders pledged to carry out their duties with honesty, dedication, and commitment towards the institution
Some of the newly elected student representatives also addressed the gathering and expressed their gratitude towards the school management and teachers for placing their faith in them. They assured every one of their sincere efforts towards fulfilling their responsibilities with dedication and fairness.
The ceremony concluded on a note of pride and optimism, inspiring all students to contribute positively towards the growth of the school and society. The event truly reflected the spirit of leadership, responsibility, and unity that Laxman Public School strives to nurture among its students.
