Doha Vachan Competition – A Celebration of Cultural Heritage

The Doha Vachan Competition was held on 27th August 2025 in the Conference Hall of Laxman Public School during the special activity period for Class 9. Students participated in an Antakshari-style contest of Dohas, divided into two teams. The winners were Rehmat, Satya Maurya, Dishita and Meenakshi.

The event was judged by Deepika Ma’am and Sapna Ma’am, while Sanskrit teachers Sampurna Ma’am and Chander Shekhar Sir enriched the session by explaining the deeper meanings of the Dohas. Rajiv Seth Sir coordinated the event seamlessly.

The highlight was the presence of our Principal, Ms. Seema B. Mishra, who congratulated the winners and motivated students to engage in cultural and literary activities.

This first-of-its-kind competition not only showcased students’ talent but also reminded everyone of India’s timeless cultural heritage, leaving the audience inspired and enriched.
