A distinguished panel of experts in psychiatry, psychology, and educational strategy led the program. Distinguished Facilitators: The orientation featured three prominent leaders in the field of mental health:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prof. Dr. Nand Kumar: A veteran psychiatrist from AIIMS Delhi and a pioneer in Neuromodulation. He is the visionary behind Project MATE, a school-based resilience model, and has spearheaded transformative mental health programs nationally.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dr. Deepika Dahima: An internationally acclaimed counseling psychologist recognized by the United Nations. Her expertise lies in synthesizing ancient Indian wisdom with modern psychological frameworks to provide trauma-informed therapy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ms. Priyanka Tandon: The strategic architect of Project MATE, who focuses on adolescent emotional development through systems thinking and reflective dialogue. She mentors students to become empathetic leaders and change agents.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Core Objectives and the MATE Framework: The primary goal of the event was to raise parents&#8217; awareness of the necessity of this program for their children&#8217;s development. The Project MATE framework emphasizes three critical pillars:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Building Resilience: Encouraging parents to be more receptive to their children\u2019s varying needs and to take a keen interest in connecting with their world.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Self-Calming Techniques: Teaching students how to manage anxiety through experiential workshops, specifically focusing on breathing games and interactive school-based sessions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Social Connectivity (MATE-5): Implementing the MATE-5 concept to foster meaningful peer connections. This encourages students to feel comfortable sharing problems, practicing self-communication, and seeking appropriate medical or psychosocial support when needed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Conclusion and Parental Engagement: The orientation concluded with an interactive Q&amp;A session. This segment allowed parents to share the personal challenges they face in their parenting journeys.
