To guide Class X students in making informed decisions about their academic and career paths, a counselling session on \u2018Stream Selection\u2019<\/strong> was organised on 12th August 2025<\/strong> in collaboration with PRATHAM<\/strong>. The session was facilitated by Mr Praveen Khanna, a distinguished career counsellor and seasoned education expert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop aimed to help students understand the importance of choosing a stream aligned with their interests, aptitude and long-term career goals. Mr Khanna provided a comprehensive overview of the three major streams\u2014Science, Commerce and Humanities<\/strong>\u2014highlighting the core subjects, skill requirements and potential career opportunities associated with each.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students were given insights into emerging career trends, interdisciplinary opportunities, and the growing importance of skills in the modern job market. Interactive Q&A segments allowed participants to clarify their doubts, ensuring a better understanding and greater confidence in making choices for their future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop concluded with an emphasis on self-awareness, informed decision-making and goal setting<\/strong>, leaving students motivated and better equipped to take the next step in their educational journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The session was well received by students, who appreciated the clarity and practical guidance provided. Teachers observed that the workshop had a positive impact on the students\u2019 approach to stream selection, reducing anxiety and fostering confidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
