Date: October 10, 2025
Class: VIII B
Topic: World Mental Health Day
The morning assembly for October 10, 2025, was conducted by the students of Class 8B on the occasion of World Mental Health Day. The assembly aimed to spread awareness about the importance of mental well-being and to remind everyone that taking care of our minds is just as essential as caring for our bodies.
The assembly began with a warm welcome by the anchors, who greeted the Principal Ma’am, teachers, and students, and introduced the theme of the day.
The thought for the day was shared in Hindi by Bhumi and in English by Aarik Singh, both of which inspired everyone to begin the day positively. This was followed by the news headlines presented by Avika, keeping everyone informed about current events.
Next, Burhan delivered a speech in English on World Mental Health Day, explaining its significance and encouraging everyone to prioritize their mental health. This was followed by a speech in Hindi by Teyana, focusing on ways to stay positive and mentally strong in everyday life.
The highlight of the assembly was a short play presented by Dishant and Vivaan, which beautifully conveyed the message that it is okay to ask for help when one needs it. The play emphasized that true strength lies not only in facing challenges alone but also in reaching out for support.
The assembly concluded with a reflection on the key message — that mental health matters, and small acts of kindness, empathy, and self-care can make a big difference. The students pledged to be kind to themselves and others, promoting a culture of understanding and compassion.
Overall, the assembly was informative, meaningful, and inspiring.
