AI-Based Emerging Careers in the 21st Century
A highly informative and engaging workshop on “AI-Based Emerging Careers in the 21st Century” was conducted for the students of Grade XII on 3rd November 2025 at Laxman Public School. The session was facilitated by Dr. Saurav Chhabra, an eminent expert in Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies, and was organized courtesy of Hindustan Times (HT).
The workshop aimed to acquaint students with the rapidly evolving landscape of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its growing influence across diverse professional domains. Dr. Chhabra began by explaining the fundamentals of AI and its real-world applications in sectors such as healthcare, education, finance, communication, and transportation. He highlighted how AI is not just transforming existing careers but also creating new and dynamic opportunities that demand creativity, analytical thinking, and digital fluency.
Students were introduced to a wide range of AI-driven career options, including data science, machine learning engineering, robotics, AI ethics, automation design, and cognitive computing. Dr. Chhabra also discussed the importance of upskilling, adaptability, and interdisciplinary learning, encouraging students to integrate technology with fields such as psychology, economics, and the arts to stay relevant in the 21st-century workforce.
