General Guidelines for Pre-School Admission

The Admission to Preschool is regulated in accordance with the instructions/ guidelines issued by Directorate of Education every year. Admission criteria, classification of the seats and admission schedules are formulated as per DoE instructions and guidelines and are displayed in the public domain, i.e. School’s website and School Notice board for the information of the parents seeking admission of their children.

  • In case of Twin Siblings, if the first child gets selected, the second will automatically get admission.
  • Children born on or before 31.03.2016 are eligible for admission.
  • There is no interview with the children. School does not conduct interviews of the parents. However, there is an Orientation Programme with the parents of the admitted children only.
  • Admission procedure is conducted under the supervision of an Admission Committee. The decision of the Admission Committee in this regard will be final and binding.
  • Forms with hand written modifications/corrections will not be Incomplete forms are liable to be rejected without any intimation.
  • Only one copyof the form will be accepted, no change of information in the form will be entertained.
  • Printed copy of the filled form must be submitted as per schedule at the school counter between 8.30 am to 1 pm on all working days. Last date of submission of form is Monday 7th January 2019. A non-refundable Registration fee of Rs. 25 (Cash Only) will be charged at the time of submission of form.
  • Registration process will not be complete unless a printed copy of the form is submitted in the school. Registration does not guarantee admissionfor the child in the school.
  • Admission to school is subject to the verification of the Original documents. The undertaking should clearly certify that the information given is correct and the documents submitted are true copies of the originals.
  • The details and schedule of the “GENERAL CATEGORY DRAW OF LOTS” will be available on the school website. The draw will be held as per DoE guidelines.
  • The date of the verification process of the documents will be intimated on the website for the applicants, whose registration numbers are selected in ‘Draw of lots’ held in the school.
  • There is no feefor online enrolment.
  • Please Note – School buses will ply only on the existing routes.

  • Click on the submit button to get the copy of the form on the screen.
  • Check all the credentials and then take a printout of the form, paste photographs & attach documents as mentioned in the form as per Annexure-I.
  • Submit the duly filled formalong with the mentioned documents at the school counter from Saturday, 15th, Dec 2018 to Monday, 7th, Jan 2019 latest by 1:00 pm.
  • Incomplete form will not be accepted by the school.

ANNEXURE – I

A. LIST OF DOCUMENTS TO BE ENCLOSED WITH THE FILLED UP ADMISSION FORMS:-
  1. Self-attested photocopy of the Birth certificate of the child.
  2. Proof of Residence (any one)
    • Ration Card / Smart Card issued in the name of the parents. (mother/ father – having name of the child)
    • Voter Identity Card (EPIC) of any of the parents.
    • Electricity Bill/ MTNL Telephone bill/ Water bill in the name of the parents. (only last 3 months)
    • Passport in the name of any of the parents or child.
    • Aadhar card / UID Card issued in the name of any of the parents.
  3. Proof of Sibling (real brother or sister)
    • Copy of fee bill of sibling from LPS.
    • Copy of report card from LPS.
  4. Proof of Alumni
    • Copy of Class XII pass certificate from LPS
    • Copy of character certificate from LPS
  5. Children of Staff
    • Details of employment
    • Position
    • Date of employment
    • Years of service
    • Copy of appointment letter / confirmation letter

B. Instructions and procedure for filling the Admission form
General Instructions
  • Please fill up this form very carefully as admission will be based on the contents of this form.
  • Kindly submit the duly completed form to Laxman Public School Fee office from Saturday, 15th,Dec 2018 to  Monday,7th, Jan 2019 latest by 1:00 pm. (Entry to the School through Gate No. 3)
  • You are advised to keep a photocopy of the filled form.
  • For any further communication with parents, the school will cite only the Registration Number given on this form.
  • Children who complete 3 yrs as on 31/03/2019 and are less than 4 yrs will be eligible for admission  to Preschool for the academic session 2019-20.
  • The number of seats available for admission to Pre-School is 184 ( One hundred and eighty four), including 25% seats reserved for EWS and Disadvantaged Group (under RTE).
  • You are advised to fill in only one form to avoid cancellation.
The admission process has been carefully designed to provide equal opportunity to all and to maintain transparency.
