Shubham Jaglan, has proved it!

Shubham Jaglan who is the student of Laxman Public school, Hauz Khas Delhi, has proved it. He has won the junior world golf title which was held in Las Vegas. This is his second successive I.J.G.A World Stars of Junior Golf title,In just two weeks.Jaglan has become so famous over the years that even Tiger Woods started following him on a social networking site. Shubham has won over 100 domestic and international tournaments.

To win the championship, he shot a three round score of 106 and won by a five-stroke margin.In the championship, his others competitors were Justin Dang and Sihan Sandhu from the United States and Thailand’s Pongsapak Laopakdee

Shubham,scripted a scintillating one-stroke win at the Junior World Golf Championships being played at Welk Resort Fountain Course .His three-day total of seven-under par 179 was better than rest of the field to become the Junior World Champion in his age category.age.

Shubham blitzed the golf course over the past three days with not less than as many as thirteen birdies during his three rounds. Five of them came during the final round today which proved to be the difference as he was in the joint lead at the end of round 2.

Shubham, who had missed out last year with a runner up finish but through sheer determination, he made sure he got the top billing this year.

Shubham was taken under the wings of the Golf Foundation pioneered by Arjuna Awardee and Asian Games gold medallist, Amit Luthra. He considers Jack Nicklaus as his idol. He’s also a fan of Seve Ballesteros.Jaglan’s goal is to beat the 18 major championships record held by Jack Nicklaus.

┬áHe is focused on accuracy and hugely demanding on himself.” He loves Tiger Woods although in other interviews he lists Seve Ballesteros and Gary Player among his idols. One day, lovers of Indian golf hope that Shubham Jaglan will join the elite club.
